Prayer and fasting for Egypt - February 2011
In the light of the current events in our beloved Egypt, the Coptic Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland calls all to join together in prayer and fasting from Wednesday 2nd to Friday 4th of February 2011.

Fr. Athanasius George (St. Mary & St. Demiana Church, Dublin) has launched a website for Coptic Church Fathers Studies. The site is in Arabic and you can visit it on http://ixoyc.net.
The Diocese welcomes 2 new priests; Fr Abefanous and Fr Bolis - August 2009
Two priests joined the service of the Diocese; these are father Abefanous Ava Mina and father Bolis El Antony. Father Abefanous will be serving the Church of Ava Mina in Cahir and that after her Servant father Bafnotous was ordained as a Bishop, as for father Bolis El Antony he will be serving the Church of the Seven Monks in Galway, we wish them a blessed fruitful service.
Diocese youth attended and represented the diocese in the European Youth Conference in Vienna - August 2009
The youth of the Diocese shall contribute in the European Youth conference which will be held in Austria – Vienna - from Friday 28th till Sunday 30th of August 2009. The youth of the Diocese shall be having a special program on Thursday the 27th and Monday the 31st when they will visit some of the tourist sites. The departure will be in three groups, the first group from Ireland under the leadership of father Athanasius George and the second group from the North under the leadership of father Karas Ava Bishoy and the third group from the South will be under the leadership of father Antonious Nagib and father Angelous El Antony.
